On November 15, 2024, during Tsinghua Medicine’s Future of Medicine Forum, Tsinghua University officially inaugurated the School of Healthcare Management, alongside other new schools under Tsinghua Medicine. This marked a major milestone in the development of its medical disciplines. This article commemorates the founding of the School of Healthcare Management and its inaugural academic event.
As an important part of Tsinghua Medicine, the School of Healthcare Management draws on the Tsinghua University's resources in fields like medicine, management, engineering, and data science. Its core mission is to cultivate leading healthcare management professionals with both an international perspective and innovative capabilities to support the modernization and internationalization of China's healthcare system.

On the same day, the School of Healthcare Management hosted a sub-forum on modern healthcare management, themed “At the Medical Frontier, with a Vision for Tomorrow.” The sub-forum, chaired by Professor Wu Jian, Dean of the School of Healthcare Management, brought together a distinguished group of experts from China and abroad in the fields of medical policy, hospital management, and medical innovation and investment.
